Leather + Lace: May the Fourth Be With You – May 4th, 2019

Saturday May 4th brings Leather + Lace, featuring the best hard dance beats and encouraging killer club attire!

Hosted by Apollo Marquez at Prism Dance Club in Madison Wisconsin, L+L features seamless, tag-team sets of crushing dance beats, hand-chosen and mixed live by DJ Mike Carlson and DJ WhiteRabbit – including the best mix of new and classic electronic, industrial, ebm, techno, and more.

With live visual mixing and photography from VJ Alistair Loveless; stage performances in the VIP area; a bevy of breathtaking go-go dancers; and lighting, visual effects, and extra audio from MC Audio!

* * *MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU: While we’re not doing an “official” theme for this L+L, it does happen to fall on May the Fourth—a date that celebrates the characters and lore of the Star Wars universe…

Therefore (for those so inclined), we encourage our patrons to indulge in their favorite cosplay for this L+L! Be it Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Avengers, or anything else, now’s your chance to rock your favorite character’s signature look at L+L, whatever the genre!

HOWEVER, for those who AREN’T interested in this somewhat niche suggestion, no worries! Simply dress as you would for any other L+L: sexy, stylish, creative, or daring! We DON’T expect mass participation in a Star Wars/cosplay theme – but we couldn’t let May the Fourth go by without at least acknowledging it!
