Saturday, May 5th<\/strong>\u00a0 brings Leather + Lace<\/a><\/strong>, featuring the best hard dance beats and encouraging killer club attire!<\/p>\n Hosted by Apollo Marquez<\/strong> at Plan B<\/a><\/strong> in Madison Wisconsin, L+L features seamless, tag-team sets of crushing dance beats, hand-chosen and mixed live by DJ Mike Carlson<\/a><\/strong> and DJ WhiteRabbit<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 including the best mix of new and classic electronic, industrial, ebm, techno, and more.<\/p>\n With live visual mixing and camera feeds from VJ Alistair Loveless<\/a><\/strong>; \u00a0interactive performances in the VIP area with Lili Luxe<\/strong> (Luxe Produxions<\/a><\/strong>) and Karcus<\/strong> (Sabbat de Sade<\/a><\/strong>); go-go dancers; \u00a0and lighting, visual effects, and extra audio from MC Audio<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n SPECIAL NOTE:<\/strong> While we’re not doing an “official” theme for this L+L, it does happen to fall on May the Fifth; and though “May the Fourth” has become a day to celebrate Star Wars and its heroes, the following day is known as “Revenge of the Fifth”\u2014a day to celebrate the Sith Lords and other dark villains from the Star Wars universe.<\/p>\n Therefore, for those so inclined, we encourage you to indulge in your favorite cosplay for this L+L! Be it Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, Overwatch, or anything else, now’s your chance to rock your favorite character’s signature look, whatever the genre, whether hero or villain! (Though of course we prefer the villains \u2013 but you already knew that.) \ud83d\ude08\u2620\ufe0f\ud83d\ude31\ud83d\udc95<\/p>\n SIDE NOTE:<\/strong> For those who AREN’T interested in this admittedly niche suggestion, no sweat!
